Questions about cost and commitment
How do the first 30 days work?
After a demo, IT sets Mandate up on your computers, and you use it free for 30 days. If you stay, your subscription starts then. If you stop, you owe nothing, and you can ask for a signed export of your records within 30 days, as when any subscription ends.
Who counts as a person?
Everyone whose AI use goes through Mandate, and you are billed for at least 25. People who only set rules, approve messages or audit the record are not counted, and neither are AI agents or your own software.
What do we need to start?
Whoever looks after your computers and your Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or Google Workspace sign-in, on staff or an outside IT provider. They set Mandate up with the tool they already use, such as Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, Jamf or a remote management tool.
What happens to our records if we stop using Mandate?
Export a signed record for any period at any time, and anyone holding it can check it without a Mandate account. When a subscription ends, for any reason, including Mandate discontinuing the service, ask within 30 days and we send you a signed export of all your records. They are deleted within the 30 days after that, and copies in backups within a further 30 days. IT removes what it sent to your computers, and AI tools work as before.
Can we run Mandate on our own servers?
Yes, as a separate annual agreement, priced on its own. Ask about it in the demo.
We have several offices. Is that one subscription?
Yes. Each office gets its own rules and record, and each person is billed once.
